Wargrave

These proposals would introduce a cycle route connecting Twyford and Wargrave. The shared use path on the A321 would be widened and upgraded and crossings for cyclists and pedestrians added to make a more continuous route. Speed limits would also be reduced along the route.

Larger junctions would be redesigned to separate cycles from turning traffic using traffic lights. Where space is more constrained, cycle early release traffic lights would be added in conjunction with advanced stop lines (ASL). At smaller junctions the kerbs would be built-out to reduce crossing distances and slow turning vehicles.
