The map below shows the proposed walking network for Wokingham Borough. We've identified the routes where people are most likely to walk and used this information to develop a primary and secondary network of walking routes.

The primary network is typically along main pedestrian routes through busy urban shopping and business areas. Here, we've identified various improvements that could make walking safer and easier.

The secondary network is made up of less-used but still popular routes, mostly through local areas feeding into the primary network.
